Christina Waters

In 2020 I joined the Commercial Insurance Department at Darnielle Insurance Agency, working directly with Deanna Darnielle to help service her commercial accounts. I am the second generation working in the insurance industry, following in my dad and sister's footsteps. I have found insurance to be a great opportunity to meet people, discover where they are in life, and work to give them the best insurance advice and coverage that fits their needs. Customer service and safety are a major part of my background. I have worked in Loss Prevention and Security in resort hotels implementing fire and safety regulations; assisting clients with added security needs; processing workers' compensation claims and responding to guests' security concerns and issues. I have also volunteered at a Navy Marine Corp Relief Society. I became a counselor providing financial counseling, budget planning and community outreach assistance. It was very rewarding helping active and retired military families regain some relief and stability during times of financial hardship. I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BA in Communications and a minor in Photography. I competed on the Western Equestrian Show Riding team and Women's Water Polo team in high school and college. Outside of work my interests are walking my dog, Lucy, reading, cooking and baking, line dancing, crocheting (third generation!) and spending time with family and friends.
